Dr. David Rankin announces final year


Dr. David Rankin has announced that the 2014-15 academic year will be his final year as President of Southern Arkansas University. Rankin will retire effective June 30, 2015. He made the announcement to faculty and staff at SAU on May 1, 2014. Season tickets on sale for SAU Theatre

Director of SAU Theatre Clayton Guiltner hopes to have an encore performance of the record-setting play season last year. SAU alum and new Magnolia School District Superintendent John Ward speaks to guests at the welcome reception this summer at the SAU Reynolds Center.

The new Magnolia School District Superintendent John Ward was welcomed to the community Monday before his official first day on July 1 at an ice cream social at SAU.
